As the premiere concert of our new concert series there is a special highlight:

For the first time, the guitar club is organizing a concert with a symphony orchestra and guitar.

The Bosnian guitarist who has won numerous international awards Sanel Redzic, including a two-time winner of the Anna Amalia Competition, plays the world-famous “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaquin Rodrigo.

It’s not that well known, but it’s also worth listening to Concerto op. 201 for 2 guitars and orchestra of the Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, which through this Duo Siempre Nuevo (Patrick Vacik and Matej Freml) from the Czech Republic is interpreted.

The program is complemented by two well-known dances from ballets by Manuel de Falla in the original orchestral version:

“Danza ritual de fuego” and “Danza del Molinero”

It plays that State Youth Orchestra of Thuringia under the direction of Yuri Lebedev.
