Thibaut García, born in Toulouse in 1994, started playing guitar at the age of seven. His Spanish roots influenced the way he thought and played. He initially received lessons from Robb Storar, Marc Navarro and Paul Ferret at the Toulouse Conservatory. At the age of 16, he was accepted into Olivier Chassain’s class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. Thibaut Garcia won numerous prizes at international competitions, including first prize at the 10th Anna Amalia Competition 2011 in Weimar.

Antoine Morinière, born in 1993, received guitar lessons at the Bordeaux Conservatory with Jean Luc Rochietti and Olivier Chassain and continued his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. Among other things, he won the international guitar competition in Oltzyn, Poland and received second prize at the 11th Anna Amalia Competition 2013 in Weimar.

The two young artists studied chamber music with Laszlo Hadady (solo oboist of the Orchester intercontemporaine) and received lessons from Alexis Muzurakis and Judicael Perroy. They are united, among other things, by their commitment to contemporary music. As soloists and in duos, they have performed numerous premieres and cooperate with the CNSMDP contemporary dance class. They regularly perform at concerts and festivals throughout France and abroad.
