Lively, soulful classical concerts at the highest technical level

characterize the duo of Julia and Christian Zielinski. Completely coordinated

create an intense, intimate concert atmosphere,

which immediately captures the listener.

Several 1st and 2nd prizes at international chamber music competitions in Italy,

Spain, Liechtenstein and Germany confirm the duo’s outstanding quality.

True to the idea that “the guitar is an orchestra,” the two are appealing

the color spectrum of their instruments to the limit

play completely from memory. The result is communication and liveliness

on stage in a way that is rarely found.

Invitations to international music festivals (including Oberstdorf Music Summer,

Nürtingen Guitar Festival, Gubbio Music Festival, Parma Guitar Festival,

Piazzolla Festival Lanciano) and concert tours to Italy, Lithuania and Poland

established Julia and Christian Zielinski in the music world.

At the invitation of the Goethe-Institut, they performed as cultural ambassadors

already in Brazil and Andalusia.

Julia and Christian Zielinski, both born in 1987, are scholarship holders

Support for gifted children by the ING DiBa, the DAAD and the Yehudi Menuhin Association

“Live Music Now”, for which they regularly give concerts in charitable institutions.

They completed their studies in Stuttgart (with Prof. Johannes Monno as well as Ivo and Sofia

Kaltchev) and Frankfurt (with Prof. Michael Teuchert) with top marks and distinction

to now take her concert exam (with Prof. Olaf van Gonnissen) in Hamburg.

The duo played their first joint CD “Im Klang der Zeit” in 2007

with first recordings of Beethoven and Pujol.

In 2013, the second CD “Portrait” was released by karlklang, for which it received best reviews in the

received specialist press.
